Services range from the development and implementation of Responsible Tourism policies for tourism providers through to general tourism consultancy linked to sustainability and the development of community-owned tourism enterprises. Tribal Voice works in partnership with other consultants and organisations when required to deliver multi-disciplined projects.
Tribal Voice is owned and managed by Dr Cheryl Mvula who has been recognised for her RT credentials and personal contribution to Responsible Tourism through the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards. Cheryl’s specialist areas include ecotourism development, responsible wildlife tourism, walking and bird tourism, pro-poor tourism - for which she is globally recognised for her ground breaking work with the Maasai tribe in Kenya – tourism marketing and brand development, along with primate conservation. Senior Consultant Manny Mvula specialises in responsible wildlife tourism development and safari guide training, in particular responsible wildlife viewing etiquette.

OUR MISSION: Tribal Voice Communications works with UK travel companies, destination tourism suppliers, local communities, conservation organisations and development NGOs to help make tourism a force for positive change-minimising the negative impacts of tourism on the environment, wildlife and local culture and harnessing the benefits to help conserve natural resources and improve the livelihoods of local communities in tourism destinations.

Tribal Voice Communications is a social enterprise that undertakes Responsible Tourism consultancy, using its profits to deliver conservation and community development initiatives in Africa that are linked to tourism.
Through our work we aim to help make travel and tourism more responsible. In particular we seek to harness the power of tourism for wildlife conservation, the protection of fragile ecosystems and the enhancement of local peoples’ livelihoods in the developing world.
